Spend 2.5 hours at Berlin’s Friedrichstadt-Palast for FALLING | IN LOVE, a large-scale production directed by Oliver Hoppmann. Expect more than 100 artists, costumes by Jean Paul Gaultier and Sasha Frolova, acrobatics, music, poetry, and a 25-minute intermission. English support varies by scene.

Spend 2.5 hours at Laughing Spree, an English-language stand-up show aboard the Eastern Comfort Hostelboat near Oberbaumbrücke. Hosts such as Chris, Patrick, and Jana lead mixed open-mic lineups, with a free welcome shot, bar access, sunset deck views, and the East Side Gallery nearby.

Spend two hours at Berlin’s Quatsch Comedy Club, where a German-speaking host introduces four comedians, mixing established names with newcomers. Exchange your voucher at the counter, arrive early for better first-come seating, and expect an uncensored live show in German.
“Die Show und die Getränke sehr gut. Service leicht überfordert aber verständlich denn was Sitzordnung angeht gibt es da nichts. Leider super eng , wie auf dem Bild zu sehen einen Tisch hatten wir auch nicht also das Ambiente was man erwartet bekommt man leider nicht es ist eher 7 Stühle Rücken wie bei Tetris wenn man aufstehen will um auf s wc zu kommen. Schade sehr auf Masse gemacht als auf Klasse. Aber Show war gut.”

Spend an English-language comedy night at Kookaburra Comedy Club, hosted by Dharmander Singh and Neil Numb. Choose Thursday’s open mic for new talent or a Friday or Saturday showcase with seasoned international comics. Doors open at 7 pm, pizza arrives around 8:30, and the show runs from 9 to about 11 pm.

Spend about two hours with English-speaking comedians and host Chris at Berlin’s dark comedy night. Expect morbid jokes, audience interaction, a free shot on arrival, a bar, and performers from several countries. This adults-only show is friendly in tone but intentionally offensive in content.

Spend 150 minutes at Berlin’s Tipi am Kanzleramt, a permanent tent theater beside the Reichstag. Expect cabaret, chansons, comedy, dance, music, magic, and daring artistry, depending on the show. Your ticket includes a €5 food voucher, while most performances are in German.
At Berlin’s Wintergarten Varieté, Jay Kahn leads four singers and a five-piece band through 1990s boy-band hits, girl-group songs, Britpop, Eurodance, grunge, and crossover classics while international artists perform daring acrobatics. The 2.5-hour dinner-theater show costs about $51.
Laughing Spree Comedy puts a fast-moving English stand-up show aboard The Floating Lounge in Friedrichshain. Host Chris Doering introduces several comedians, from established acts to first-timers, with each performer getting 5 to 7 minutes. Doors open at 8pm, and the show starts at 9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Join host Chris and a rotating lineup of three to five English-speaking comedians for 1.5 to 2 hours of culture-based stand-up in Berlin Mitte. You’ll get a free shot on entry, access to the bar, and jokes shaped by life between countries. The venue may vary.

Spend Saturday night at Berlin’s Quatsch Comedy Club for 70 minutes of German stand-up with one host and three changing comedians. The show begins at 22:15, uses table seating with drinks and snacks available for purchase, and is best for German-speaking visitors aged 12 and older.
