Berlin · BERLIN ESCAPE GAMES
Rainy afternoons and groups of four to six. These 8 rooms are compared on difficulty, whether they run in English, how long you get and what it costs per person.
In Berlin Mitte, you and two or three investigators follow a fictional 1976 Berlin Wall murder case. Trabiwood provides a private, one-hour escape room with more than 20 puzzles, German, English, or Russian assistance, and a surprising splash of water.
Choose a private escape-room adventure in Berlin, with English or German support from a gamemaster. Themes include Jack the Ripper, Winter is Coming, and Tutankhamun’s Tomb. Two additional rooms, The Prison and Area51, are listed in Göppingen.
“Leider war nur eine Angestellte für die ganze Halle da und sie konnte uns beim escape room nicht helfen.”
Meet a greeter at Platz der Einheit, collect an iPad, and follow a weather-manipulation mission through central Potsdam. You solve clues in facades, artworks, streets, and sacred sites. The game is in German, lasts two hours, and may place you with another team.
“Das Lösen kleiner Rätsel ist eine schöne Idee, den Blick auf etwas zu richten. Allerdings dachte ich, auf der Tour mehr über Potsdam selber zu erfahren, eben eher eine Rätselstadtführung. Dafür sind dann 33 Euro viel Geld. Nichts desto trotz hatten wir viel Spaß, da die zufällige Gruppenbildung sehr harmonierte.”
Enter a high-tech recreation of Tutankhamun’s tomb at Laserstar Berlin. Your private group has about 120 minutes to solve puzzles rated 6 out of 10, with an automatic hint system available every 10 minutes. The room suits ages 12 and up, with adults required for younger players.
“At man skulle betale 5 euro for et ligegyldigt kort og en af gåderne passede ikke. Derudover var stedet slidt og man var ikke klar over når spillet var slut.”
Meet your German-speaking game master at Koppenplatz and turn Berlin Mitte into a two-hour puzzle course. Use an iPad to receive tasks, chat with your guide, read clues in the city, and race your team toward the finale. Wear good shoes, expect long walks, and note that the game runs in German.
Act as an undercover investigator in Jägervorstadt, following clues about stolen filming footage and tracking blackmailers. A game supervisor guides your small group of up to eight, with Oskar Lukas among the named hosts. Expect German instructions, codes, discussion, and a two-hour walk.
“Insgesamt sehr kurzweilig. Toller Spielleiter (Oskar Lukas). Hat sich nicht entdecken lassen;-) Gefehlt hat uns eine Möglichkeit auf der Strecke, Getränke zu kaufen. Hier wäre ein Kiosk o. ä. gut, wenn der im Spiel integriert wäre.”
At EXIT Berlin, you choose a private two-hour adventure from escape rooms, virtual reality missions, family games, or outdoor games. The venue sits in the Admiralspalast courtyard by Friedrichstrasse station. English and German support, wheelchair access, and group pricing make it easy to plan.
You become an undercover team hunting a fictional drug lord in Friedrichshain. Follow clues from Revaler Straße through the district, solve coded puzzles, and receive hints from a remote game master. The game is in German, limited to eight people, and requires comfortable shoes and weather-ready clothing.
Pick a century, a district or a deck.
